International Postal Money Order
We used to accept International Postal Money Orders (IPMO) a lot but we stopped taking them because we have to drive to the designated post office. Also, to cash IPMO would take 1 hour as their verification process take very long since they received many fake IPMO in the past.
Bank Checks & Money Orders by financial institutions
To cash bank checks that issued by foreign banks takes very long and costs too much.
For the same reason, we cannot take Money Orders by companies like Amex or Moneygram.
We also cannot take payment by Western Union as there is no agents for them in Japan at this moment.
Seven Bank announced that they are working with Western Union in the near future.
If there service is suitable for us to receive money from outside Japan, we would use them in the future.
We used to take payments by Google Checkout through our US company in Nevada but we decided to stop it.
The reason is we have changed our payment currency to Japanese Yen but they only handle US$.
We will take Google Checkout again when they start handling Japanese yen.
