Many goods like Digital Camera, Nintendo DS, mobile phone, lap top PC has lithium-ion
battery, we can ship main body but we have to remove the batteries.

Downloaded contents
We do not handle downloaded contents like software, music or video that we have to download through internet.
Foodstuff
Shipping foodstuff internationally is not illegal. But recently, each country’s regulation for foodstuff is getting very strict especially to the US.
Some toys come with candies or chewing gum. We need to remove them before we ship.
Brand name items shipped from overseas.
Live Animals, Insects, plants etc.
We just cannot handle Live Animals, Insects and Plants because of quarantine issue.
For the same reason, we cannot handle Soil.
Air Soft Guns , Gas Guns (Model Guns)
Need a lot of procedure to export Air Soft Guns, Gas guns to overseas.
Orders from not shippable countries
There are several countries that we cannot ship because the restriction or the reasons of shipping companies.
Other goods that cannot be handled by Noppin’s reason
- Shopping that you ordered directly from stores.
- We are not handling shopping that you already ordered yourself.
We don’t send payment only. We don’t receive packages only either.
Please just order our shopping service from the beginning. - Seller don’t ship items but we have to meet the seller to hand items
- Exchange or Swap
- Shopping for the services that we have to provide something
- Example) Painting service for Gas Tank of motorcycle, Decoration service for Nintendo DS, any Repair Services.
- Seller’s payment option is in Cash only
- We are using traceable payment methods only.
- Concert tickets don’t have more than 14 days to transact before the concert day.
- Services
- We handle shopping for items only.
We don’t handle commission services like painting service, rental service and so on. - Shopping from websites that don’t provide their information.
- Stores must provide their name, address, phone number on their website.
We just don’t contact or order to the stores if no informations.We can purchase items from blog site as long as they provide information. - Stores located outside Japan
- We only handle shopping from stores in Japan.
We understand many our clients even don’t know the websites are Japanese.
Please just feel free to ask if we can purchase items from the websites.
We can handle goods from overseas stores if they list the items on Yahoo Auction. Please use our Auction Service in that case. - Shopping from real stores
- Our service is for purchasing from websites only.
We don’t go to real stores, events or concerts and so on. - Fan Club Membership
- We cannot join membership for Fan Clubs in behalf of you.
We also cannot purchase items through Fan Clubs that you already joined. - Tickets from Tickets agencies like Lawson Tickets, PIA and so on.
- We only purchase tickets from secondary market like http://www.ticket.co.jp
The seller must have the tickets already and we need at least 14 days to the concert.
We are also taking orders for tickets on Yahoo Auction!
Please check General Rule for Auction Service for purchasing tickets. - Subscriptions
- We cannot order annual subscriptions for magazines and so on.
- Orders to website after our business hours
- Some websites start taking orders at the certain time out of our business hours like 10pm on Saturday. Unfortunately, we cannot take orders.
- Other shopping that we don’t think suitable to handle
- Real Estates, Whole body of cars, Motorcycle or other items we don’t think we can handle.
We might be able to handle some goods by our Auction Service. Please feel free to contact us from CONTACT BOARD anytime!
We can take pre-orders by our shopping service. Some seller take reservations and the delivery is like 3 months later. Please just understand that you have to pay full amount including our service charge in advance. We used to combine order both Pre-order and normal order.
But from Noppin service, we separate pre-order and normal order.
Amazon Marketplace is Amazon Japan’ fixed-price online marketplace that allows sellers to offer their goods alongside Amazon’ offerings.
The price is starting from 1 yen but shipping charge is fixed-price 340 yen per item even though
you purchase several items from the same seller.
We are happy to offer shopping service from the Amazon Marketplace.
We can order multiple items but we need to receive items from each sellers. (Not combined shipment from Amazon.) So, we only combine 3 items on one invoice.
Good & Bad Shopping Requests
There are ‘Time Difference’ between our clients and us.
So our contact each other could take longer than you contact with people in your country.
To minimize the number of contacts, you should give us as much information as possible.

Don’t purchase everything if one of the particular items is sold out already etc...
We purchase items on the shopping order even though some of items sold out already
because it could be too late if we contact you again before we order. - Bad Shopping Requests
- These are requests which are difficult to handle, take longer for us or cannot handle.
Scans from magazine but no information for manufacture, model number or where we can get.
You provide a link for the store but no links for each item.
Websites that introduce their own personal items but you want us to ask them to purchase or negotiate prices.
Change items and quantity over and over for a long time.
Price in Japan
Some clients misunderstand that price in Japan for Japanese manufacture»s goods are cheaper.
For example, Sony laptop from Japan should be cheaper than your country.
Some items are true but you will pay our service charge and international shipping and recent strong Japanese Yen. If you can purchase same items in your country, you should purchase it in your country.
Payment
Once you pay for invoice, you cannot change, cancel or add anything.
If you might change your order, please just don’t send the payment and contact us.
International Shipping Charge
In the price quote, international shipping charge is NOT included yet.
We are doing shopping service and we don’t have goods in stock.
We are charging actual international shipping charge later when your package is ready to be shipped.
When some of item sold out after we received payment.
We are using PayPal or credit card companies’ authorization.
If we cannot order part of items, we change total amount and capture the authorization.
Even if the less quantity items, we still have to charge 1000 JPY plus 10%
if we cannot order everything, we will just cancel the authorization.
You don’t have to pay anything including our service charge
Undelivered items from the seller
We guarantee 100% for the items by our shopping service.
If undelivered, we refund you everything with no price limit.
Inspection for shopping service is a little different than our auction service.
When some of item sold out after we received payment.
Unlike our auction service, we check items soon after we receive the packages from stores.
If we receive different items
We will contact to stores as soon as possible and ask them replacement or cancel the order if the items we originally order has been sold out.
Condition for used items
We don’t check conditions on used items, working conditions and so on.
We just cannot take any responsibilities for the conditions for used items.
Size & Color
As you know, showing real colors on PC is very difficult. We just cannot take responsibility for the colors. We can ask stores for more information, so please contact us.
Size is also misunderstandable factor. Please check Useful Information Japanese Size M is smaller than US size M. We just ship items if the size is same as the description.
Packing
Some other services don’t check inside the box and ship the package as it is.
But we will unpack each package from sellers and dispose cardboards and repack new box with bubble wrap & newspaper. We will do it because we understand the package will be damaged
during international shipment. Stores in Japan don’t know the final destination is outside Japan.
Shipping charge in Japan is not very different by the size or the weight so most of seller use a lot bigger box than the item itself. But it is significantly different when it is international.
We need 3 business days
We usually pack your items as soon as we receive a packing request.
But it really depends on busyness, season and so on.
Also, we need to wait for some items on the packing request if they have not arrived yet.
When we are busy, please allow up to 3 business days after the last item arrived.

Paying for international shipping
After we finish packing, we will let you know international shipping.
The deadline of shipping charge payment is depending on the storage time.
You can pay for the shipping charge within 60 days after the first item in the package arrived.
If items in the package is more than 60 days after we receive the item, you have to pay 300 yen
per item a day. We cannot ship the package if you don’t pay the storage fee.

- About EMS
- Our standard shipping method is EMS.
If you don’t specify shipping method, the shipping charge we quote is EMS. Shipping - Insurance
- If you use our recommended shipping method EMS, we will pay insurance for full amount.
- Surcharge by other shipping methods

From Noppin service, we start charging surcharge by weight when you use other shipping
method other than EMS. We stop charging surcharge for heavy items like wheels if you use
EMS. Please check Our Fee for Auction Service for detail. - No shipping on Saturdays, Sundays or National holidays
- We only pack and ship in our business days. Mon-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm.
- The Cutoff time for same day shipping

The cutoff time for same day shipping is 13:00 or 1:00pm (Japan Time)
If you pay for international shipping before 1:00pm, we can ship the package in the same day.
It is later than 1:00pm, we will ship out your package next business day.
Important things for shipping from Noppin
- We don’t declare lower value or sending packages as a gift
- Many clients ask this question at the first time but please understand it is illegal and against international law. Some people say other services can do it for them. So they asked us to do the same. We emphasize that it is huge risk of business.
- Invoice is official document

We make invoices for clients who request us. We must put invoices for clients from mainland China. (Hong Kong is not required.) Or we must put invoices and declare the Japanese Customs for export if the value of the shipment is more than 200,000 JPY.
We must declare actual value including our service charge and any expense you paid to us. - We don’t ship your items to your friends or buyers. You must be a recipient.
- We don’t ship your package to different person. You must be a recipient.
We used to take care of it but there were so many problems like your friend don’t accept
package because post office charge some tax.
One exception is that we can ship your package to the address in Japan.
We can ship packages to your friend, hotel and so on.
Please just note that we have to charge consumption tax on our service charge if the shipping address is in Japan. Also, we have to use registered shipping method only.
We normally use Yu-Pack or Letter Pack 500. - Picking up items at our office

We do NOT accept our clients to pick up their items at our office because of security reason.
We cannot identify you are here in person. We have to SHIP packages to your place. - Storage term is NOT more than 180 days

For our clients’convenience to combine several items for international shipping,
you can use our office up to 60 days. The storage space is limited and have to pay rent for it.
We will charge 300 yen per item a day if the storage is more than 60 days.
If storage is more than 180 days and no contact or no storage fee payment,
- Address Change

Please change your shipping address BEFORE you send us a shipping request.
Or please contact us about the move BEFORE you pay for shipping charge.
Country and your name are NOT changeable on your profile screen as it is against fraudulent transactions. If you need to change your name because of marriage or moved to different country, please contact us from Contact Board.
Overweighed or Oversized Goods
For overweighed or oversized goods which are not able to ship by Postal Service,
we use our contracted shipping company. At this moment, we only use FEDEX Express.
We use them ONLY if the items are oversized or overweighed.
- Heavy or Large items are not inexpensive to ship!
- We are using FEDEX’s Economy Express and it is cheaper than other door-to-door companies.
But it is still a lot higher than Postal Services. Please contact us if you are planning to bid on something heavy or large. We will tell you if the item is shippable by Postal Service or rough shipping estimation for FEDEX to avoid unexpected surprising shipping cost. - Volume Weight

Except for Postal Services, most of other companies use “Volume Weigh”
Even if the actual weight is very small, they charge shipping by Volume Weight.
Here’s how to calculate the Volume Weight. The actual weight is 18.5 kg.
Volume Weight
= Maximum Length (cm) x Maximum Width (cm) x Maximum Height (cm) / 5,000 (cm3/kg)
= 75(cm) x 65(cm) x 55(cm) / 5,000( cm3/kg) = 53.63 (Kg)
Even if the actual weight is 18.5 kg, they take 53.63 kg for shipping weight.
- Fuel Surcharge

Postal Services also is not taking but most of other shipping companies take
“Fuel Surcharge” It is depending on oil price and changes monthly.
As of August, 2010, it is 14% They add 14% of shipping charge on the total. - Example Shipping charges by FEDEX

We use our contracted shipping companies ONLY.
We cannot use your particular shipping companies or forwarders. - Domestic Shipping

Unless we have to be an exporter of the package, we can ship the large or heavy
items domestically by Yamato Transport. For further detail, please contact us before you bid on the items.
If your package doesn’t arrive:

EMS
Please contact to your local post office with tracking number first if the package doesn’t arrive
at your place more than 14 days after we shipped out the package.
It should be faster than you contact us. If they don’t answer, please contact us.
We will contact to Japan Post about the package. But all they can do is contact to your local
post office to check the status of the package. -
Other than EMS
Other shipping methods, it is difficult to find the status of the packages.
You will just have to wait for the package. We just cannot take any responsibility for the delay. - If your package arrived broken:

Please take some photos for the broken items and pieces if you can and contact us.
We will instruct you how to claim insurance one by one. - Other than EMS
Parcel package by Air, SAL or Surface can be insured.
But it is difficult to get insurance money and taking a lot of time to handle this.
If you choose shipping method other than EMS, we cannot help you to transact insurance at our side. If you desire insured shipping method, please use EMS. - Please don’t send the package back to us unless we request you

If your package arrived broken, please DO NOT ship the package back to us.
Nobody insure or pay for the shipping charge from you to Noppin. - If you find something is missing in your package:

Please check your package once again if the item is really missing.
If not, please contact us from Contact Board as soon as possible. We will investigate it further.
We usually find missing item from seller when we do inspection before we ship.
But we might forget to pack it or our clients misunderstand and thought it was included
but actually not in the auction from the beginning. - Shipping charge for returned package when you choose other shipping than EMS

For EMS, even if something happened in your country and post office decided to ship the package back to us, there is no shipping charge for the return.
But other shipping method, they charge return shipping charge.
Our clients have to pay for the shipping charge for the return or post office abandon the package. We are not responsible for any problems in your country. - Re-shipment

We have to charge you international shipping charge again if the package has been returned to
us. If it is not Noppin’s fault, our clients have to pay international shipping again.
We cannot take any responsibility for the problems at the Customs in your country.
